Who am I?

Paediatric Occupational Therapy

Hi, I’m Sarah – a bubbly, caring and playful Occupational Therapist who’s passionate about helping children learn, grow and thrive through fun, meaningful experiences! I completed my Bachelor of Applied Science/Master of Occupational Therapy at La Trobe University in 2021 and have always loved working with kids in ways that support their development, independence and joy.

I’m the founder of Play & Thrive Occupational Therapy, based in the South-East suburbs of Melbourne. I offer both mobile and clinic-based paediatric OT services to support children in the environments where they feel most comfortable.

At Play & Thrive, I aim to create playful, engaging experiences that support your child in thriving in their everyday activities – their occupations! I use a neurodiversity-affirming, strength-based, and individualised approach to therapy, always recognising and celebrating that every child is unique.

I believe that parents are the true experts in their children’s lives, and I love working together with families to help achieve meaningful goals and positive outcomes.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband, family and friends, exploring new places and foods, tackling escape rooms or escape rooms, going on long nature walks, and playing with my cheeky dog, Charlie!

Let’s work together
